 Your personal sphere of influence and how it affects those around youWhat is a sphere of influence? Think of a smooth surface of water, perhaps a pond, and then cast a stone into it and you will see the ripples encircling the spot where the stone splashed in and then spread out for a distance before becoming calm again. This is how your personal vibrations can touch more lives and emotions than you imagine. first your greatest vibratory influence is within your immediate family, then it ripples outward to the extended family and onward to touch the lives of friends and acquaintances, even to your community, city, and world. But it doesn't stop there. The casual person you meet while shopping, the clerk, the fellow shopper who smiles at you in passing. your community as a whole is in your sphere of influence even if you never serve on a committee or attend a meeting. For instance, remember the casual shopper who smiled at you? That person was emitting positive vibrations that, if you let it, would have enhanced your day. If you were feeling upbeat you probably smiled back but, if you were in the midst of mulling over a personal or family problem you may have just looked at the person and kept walking. Thus you influenced this person in either a positive or negative way. By not returning the small gesture of good will this person no longer felt quite as cheerful as he or she did when leaving home. If you returned the smile you enhanced this persons feelings (and your own) making the day a little brighter for someone that may have had problems of his or her own, thereby making the burden a little lighter. Taking the stone in the pond scenario try to imagine a twig floating nearby. when the ripples hit the twig the action sets up a new set of ripples and some of those are coming back at you. The fact is that the whole world is made up of small spheres of influence (radiating vibrations) and thus creates the larger pool. There are some who can only influence a small set but the ripples touch other lives, especially our families, and then there are some who influence the whole world.
